One of only two teenagers in the top 100, Ryan Harrison is the tipped as the next best thing to come out of the US.
At the 2010 US Open he became the first American teenager to beat a top 20 opponent in a Grand Slam since Andy Roddick (aged 19) at the 2001 US Open. Harrison beat the 15th seed Ivan Ljubicic in three sets in the first round.
The former world junior No. 7 qualified for his first ATP tour event in Houston in April 2008 at the age of 15.
His family moved to the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in 2008 where he now trains under coach Scott McCain.
