Juan Ignacio Chela put together another solid season in 2011 reaching one ATP final at home in Buenos Aires.
The Argentinean also reached clay-court semifinals at Costa do Sauipe, Kitzbuhel and Bucharest, and he won all four singles rubbers for Argentina at the ATP World Team Championships at Dusseldorf in May.
In Grand Slam play, the former World No. 15 reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros and the US Open third round.
In doubles, Chela finished runner-up at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Monte-Carlo in April.
The 31-year-old has played as a pro since 1998 and had one of his best seasons in 2004 winning a singles and two doubles titles to finish that year ranked 15 in the world.
